Space Shuttle Launch Viewing & Kennedy Space Center

Space Shuttle Launch Viewing & Kennedy Space Center

See a Space Shuttle Launch onsite at the Kennedy Space Center! There are only two shuttle missions left! The launch will be viewed onsite at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This is for guests who wish to be within the Kennedy compound, however, are not worried about having the best view possible for the anticipated shuttle launch.

PLEASE NOTE: Space Shuttle launch dates are subject to change. Confirmations are therefore not issued for scheduled launch dates until approximately three to four weeks before the launch date. If you submit your order for a scheduled launch date and that launch is postponed or canceled prior to confirmation of your order, you will be notified regarding rescheduling or refund options.

Important Notes

The following policies have been established for this Space Shuttle Launch tour.

--No refunds will be issued if the shuttle launch is scrubbed or postponed within 72 hours of the tour departure time from Orlando.
--If launch is scrubbed or postponed within 72 hours of departure time from Orlando, guests will be transported to Kennedy Space Center's Visitors Center to be able to tour KSC and the Visitors Center. Revised E-Tickets will be sent for pick-up times for our normal Kennedy Space Center tour.

--Guests will NOT usually have access to use their Visitor Complex Admission Tickets on launch day. Guests may use their Visitor Complex Admission Tickets on a future date (within 7 days of launch day), but must transport themselves to Kennedy Space Center.

--There will be no refund and no opportunity to reschedule for any "no-shows" on the date of the scheduled launch.

--If the shuttle launch is scrubbed more than 72 hours before the scheduled launch, guests may reschedule for the next announced launch date within the launch window for the same Shuttle Mission or choose to be refunded in full.

--For the launch day, if the launch has not been scrubbed or postponed, the normal policy is that there will be no Visitor Complex Admission Tickets allowed on Kennedy Space Center property and there will also be no onsite ticket sales. The only way people will get to view the launch from the property is in a pre-booked program such as this one.

--Tight security precautions require arrival at the Space Center a number of hours before launch. After arrival at the Space Center, there are no tours scheduled (although Kennedy Space Center may provide some special activities) and very little moving around will be allowed.

--Security is very strict; think airport-style security. The following items are NOT permitted:

Backpacks
Firearms of any type (with or without a permit)
Ammunition (live or spent)
Pepper/mace sprays
Knives of any size
Box cutters or like items
Nail clippers with knife blades
Large beach type umbrellas
Any other sharp/pointed items, including pointed scissors or nail files
Coolers, luggage or other large bags

No Items will be allowed to be left on the buses and storage at KSC is not available. All bags, purses and other items will be opened and throughly inspected. Umbrella style chairs only in special carry bags; no sun chairs or folding chairs will be allowed on property.

Based on current policy - if the launch takes place, you will be issued a Visitor Complex Admission Ticket which must be used on another day (within 7 days of launch day) when you will have to provide your own transportation to Kennedy Space Center. That ticket will allow you access to all public tours at Kennedy Space Center and the Astronaut Hall of Fame, plus the IMAX Theater.

Includes:
- Visitor Complex Admission Badge
- Free roundtrip transportation from designated hotels
- Tour guide assistance

Excludes:
- Meals and beverages
- Gratuities (optional)

This does NOT include an LTT ticket so the launch will be viewed from onsite at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This is for guests who wish to be within the Kennedy compound however are not worried about having the best view possible for the anticipated shuttle launch.
