This classic combination tour pairs the essential excitement of the Kennedy Space Center with the thrills of an airboat ride and a chance to enjoy some of the real, natural Florida.
KSC is surrounded by conservation areas and wildlife refuges, so there is a strong link between the rural nature of airboating and the high-tech world of space exploration. Your adventure starts with a gentle drive out to Brevard County to the St. Johns River. Here, on the longest river in Florida, your airboat captain will showcase the natural splendors of Central Florida with an unforgettable ride on a unique, flat-bottomed craft that is powered by a giant propeller.
Skimming along the river and its surrounding wetlands at up to 45 mph, you'll catch glimpses of alligators, turtles and other wildlife that make the river their home, including an abundance of birdlife like egrets, herons, eagles, and ospreys.
After your nature experience, it’s time to head to the home of 'One Small Step For Man' and a complete immersion in the world of NASA and its astronauts. You'll have the rest of the day to explore the Visitor Center and soak up the vast array of exhibits and presentations that provide the full story of the past, present and future of the space program as it gears up for a return to the moon, and on to Mars.
Be sure to visit the superb Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit for one of the most emotional tributes to the former earth orbiter, as well as the Shuttle Launch Experience and a host of hands-on opportunities.

There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Tour / Activity Description
- These tours follow all guidelines according to local, state and federal regulations as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. The safety and well-being of our customers and staff is the number one priority.
- Temperature checks for all drivers, guides and customers prior to boarding the vehicle.
- Require all drivers, guides and customers to wear a face mask for the duration of the tour.
- All tour vehicles are sanitized before each tour and throughout the day.
- High traffic touch areas like handles and rails are disinfected regularly throughout the day.
- Guides and guess will practice social distancing of 6 feet between parties whenever possible.
- Please use the provided hand sanitizer prior to boarding and exiting the tour vehicle.

Seeing is believing, and you will believe you have been transported to the cutting edge of space exploration through a series of hands-on exhibits, movies, and presentations, including a daily Astronaut Encounter with one of the modern heroes of NASA’s operations.
At the main Visitor Complex, you should definitely make a beeline for the hugely impressive Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, with its moving and emotional presentation of one of the four surviving orbiters, as well as take a ride on the riveting Shuttle Launch Experience, a clever simulator with the inside track on what it feels like to blast off from the Space Center.
You can also visit the Heroes & Legends center (including the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame), soak up the grandeur of the IMAX Theater with its eye-popping large-screen movies, and wander the Rocket Garden.
